Pavilion in Juromenha

Location: Portugal

Year: 2019

Client: Private

Status: Study

The pavilion functions as a roof that rests on the ground and rises from the ground towards the Guadiana River and the magnificent landscape all around it. Thus, and given the characteristics of the terrain, which slopes down towards the river, the building has a reduced and discrete landscape impact. The building also intends to have a strong interaction with nature working almost like a small museum of species of native plants and trees that we can observe in windows that penetrate the interior spaces.
